Freedom is the psychological condition of those persons who willingly and joyfully comply with that famework of laws under which they have been consigned to live in order that they may become what they believe they were intended to become. True freedom, that is, freedom in Christ, is the spiritual condition of regenerated man as he willingly and joyfully obeys God’s laws in order that he may become a worshipful servant in the Kingdom of Christ. For those who do not possess such freedom, there is only one direction to turn. Only by asking God through Christ for a new heart of obedience to His laws can one receive the blessing of freedom.
