I thought I was getting paid $60 today (a minimum guest lecture fee) for putting on a 45-minute recital with programs and notes which took a total of 20 hrs. of preparation this week and last. I was feeling worn out and a bit gloomy that I was working so hard for so little profit.
By the end of today I recieved an additional $200 in unexpected checks, both that had come in the mail and that was handed to me from various sources. It was as if God was letting me know that I don’t have to worry about money. I just need to go about doing the work He wants me to do. Today God reminded me that He is Jehovah-Jirah, our provider.
