The purpose of Redeeming Womanhood is to encourage women to be what God created them to be. While modern culture promises happiness through self-fulfillment and independence, we believe that the true purpose of womanhood is to glorify God through serving, helping husbands, loving children, and mentoring other women. While living apart from God, we do not have the ability or the desire to fulfill our God-given purpose in this world, but when we, through faith in Christ’s work on the cross, are reconciled to God, we can fulfill our purpose and redeem, or win back, womanhood. Through fulfilling our God-given purpose, we are not only redeeming ourselves, but we can redeem the world around us! We believe that women have unique abilities to create community and bring a healthy stability to our families, our churches, and our world.
All of the contributors for Redeeming Womanhood are members in good standing at conservative churches that believe the Bible is inerrant and authoritative. We like to write about a variety of topics, especially those relating to loving God, loving our husbands and children, managing and bringing beauty to our homes, teaching our children, and serving in our churches and communities.
